How to Maintain your Brinsea Warranty

Author: Aussie Chook Supplies

Brinsea products have the longest warranty period in Australia for their range. Ensure your actions don’t compromise your warranty by reading this!

What will void my Brinsea warranty?
There are two things that customers tend to do that risks voiding their
warranty, so we provide this information with explicit instructions on what
to do and, more importantly, what NOT to do.
1. Brinsea incubators need to have their motor dried so it doesn’t rust
in between seasons. This is an important step in your incubator care
to ensuring you have years of use from your Brinsea incubator.
Instructions on how to do this are below.
2. Please take care to handle/carry your incubator with care. Damage
caused by the user like dropping the unit or tampering with the
components are not covered by the warranty and replacement parts
for repair are the responsibility of the incubator owner.
Tampering, opening the protective cover or attempting to ‘fix’ things
without the direction and support of Brinsea Australia is a high risk
behaviour that can also result in the voiding of the warranty.
All Brinsea equipment has specific instructions on how to clean,
service or replace components. This should never be attempted
without familiarising yourself with the processes involved, via
consultation with Brinsea Australia or the relevant online
documentation provided by Brinsea.
